Ever Changing Earth is a banded, mineral abstract built from flowing strata, bone-white cellular fields, sand and stone greys, and embered copper seams, all cut through by deep black “fault lines” that curve like rivers of cooled basalt. Across those dark channels, bead-like clusters and fine speckling gather and scatter, as if pressure, heat, and time have pushed matter into pockets, veins, and deposits. The surface reads as painterly and tactile: layered pigment, micro-cells, and granular texture that feels excavated rather than merely painted.
This work is the artist’s reminder that the world beneath our feet is not static. Earth is, in truth, a molten body with a thin hardened crust, always moving, always remaking itself. Continents shift. Oceans open and close. Mountains rise and erode. Climate patterns change. The idea of an “unchanging world” is a comforting illusion, but it is not the story written into geology. Here, the sweeping strata and molten-dark channels become a visual argument: change is not an exception. It is the constant.
